Going to Oxford, UK Next Month
I feel so pleased and excited about my upcoming trip to the UK and Sweden next month. This will be the fifth time I have presented in the UK and hopefully will get to some new places including Wakefield and Nw Castle.The Quakers in Oxford will host one of my shows. (Thanks Jon Brown for the poster. Click on it for a larger view). The Quaker meeting is right by the Eagle and Child, famous stomping grounds of CS Lewis and the gang. In fact, I believe Lewis married his wife Joy in the same building as the Quaker center on the second or third floor.
The rest of the schedule is slowly getting up on the site as I get more details. Hope to see some of you again soon!
Oh, and right now I am in North Carolina with my dad at the home of family friends. He heads back North in the morning, and I have shows here before heading off to Oregon. As I type, the TV blares aways in the background (for the benefit of our friends' Quaker Parrot--I thought Quakers are supposed to be QUIET) and an advert just came on for Thursday's Tyra Banks Show and BAM there I was was sitting next to Mormon cutie Steven Fales. Ooo...I am *so* jealous! I studied at Oxford for a while (just down the street from the "Bird and Babe," in fact) and I've been trying to get back ever since!
Have a Pims Cup for me, Peterson! And if you have any hint of interest in books, go on the tour of the Bodlean Library. I'm sure my little piece of heaven is going to look a lot like Ole' Bodley.
Any other performances on your UK tour m'dear? I shall look into getting to Oxford that day.

Daniel C, Ugh, we are all getting suck into the cyberworld (not that I mind--I am a youtube addict) but NOTHING, NOTHING can replace live theatre and you know that better than most! See you in Stockholm!
I did a summer grad program in Religion and Culture at Wycliffe Hall. It was a spectacular program, and studying in that environment was a dream come true!
